Intro to Photography 101 - 1 hour session - $50

From Daguerreotypes to medium format, from film to digital, man has been fascinated and inspired by photography since its inception. In today's day and age, a camera is often only a click away. Compact digital cameras can fit in your pocket and have even been incorporated into cellular phones! Computers and the internet have caused an explosion of opportunity for even the most casual photographer, giving them the ability to share their work with billions of people across the world. On top of that, lower costs for prosumer and professional grade equipment have all but knocked down the once formidable barriers to entry in a very competetive photography business. However, simply having the most expensive equipment on the market does not make one a great (or even good) photographer.

Intro to Photography 101 aims to teach beginning photographers the basics of SLR photography. Concepts like Shutter Speed, Aperture, ISO, Focal Length, Depth of Field, Framing, and others will be covered in an interactive, hands-on environment.
